The hit list, a collection of places I have on my list to get round to visiting and reviewing. As always, if you see a place that is not on the list and you think I should go to, why not email me or leave a link in the G+ comments?
Simple bar & Kitchen, M4

A recommendation from a Mr. Hyde, who claims that this place is even better than Almost Famous in Manchester. A trip northward is needed!
Fine Burger, NW3

Carnaby Burger Company, W1

Boom Burger

American Burgers and Jamaican seasoning: by their powers combined they promise an amazing burger experience in Notting Hill, West London. From the looks of the menu, lots of flame grilled and jerk seasoning plus other niceties make this place worth looking out for.
Ex-hit list places include:
Spuntino, W1D - REVIEWED

While the website doesn't give anything away, Mr Heaps suggested we take a look at this Brooklyn-style diner in the heart of Soho.
Five Guys - REVIEWED
http://www.fiveguys.co.uk
A popular US niche establishment turned household name burger chain comes to Covent Garden, complete with signature peanut oil chips. Not one for the allergic obviously, but it remains to be seen if Five Guys can be as popular with punters on this side of the pond.
Shake Shack - REVIEWED

Another US restaurant tries its luck in London, with an emphasis on milkshakes, frozen custards and good burgers. Bonus points for actually selling pints of beer instead of small, fiddly bottles!
Patty & Bun - REVIEWED
http://www.pattyandbun.co.uk/
A supposedly amazing burger place in the heart of London's West End. So great that they regularly have queues of up to an hour there, but this is not only down to demand but also the fact that they own one of the smallest restaurant venues I have ever seen. If I'm ever going to visit, I'm going to have to go super early - no bookings taken!
Honest Burgers, Soho - REVIEWED!
